Here is how to employ vastu to remain mentally fit.
As the sun rises in the east, the main door must be facing east. The other favourable directions are north, northeast or west of the northwest, but never south or west of the southwest and east of the southeast.
Wind chimes have tinkling bells which help destroy negative energy patterns and allow the smooth flow of positive energy. Hang them in the house
Earthy colours like brown, almond are recommended for the master bedroom. Bright colours exude positive vibes.
Place some decorative water plants or simply a bowl of water with floating candles on the north east side of the house as proves beneficial for mental health.
Avoid milk producing plants like cactus and rubber plants inside the house as they hinder the balance and harmony of the mind.
Bedroom should ideally be mirror free as it leads to conflict in the house thereby distrubing your mental peace.
Do not make staircase in the north east corner of the house. Also avoid keeping heavy machinery, ladder or metal storages in this corner.
Never keep brooms, mops, shoes or anything dirty under the staircase. Also do not keep the brooms standing.
