Each direction in vastu is characterized to instill people coming in contact with the place. Hence directions are very important.

Study room should be in the East or North-east direction of the house. It promotes positive skill in children.

The south-east direction is dedicated to the fire element and induces aggression and stubbornness. Avoid sleeping in this direction.

Also study facing East or north-east direction for increased concentration, mental strength, determination and knowledge.

North-west direction helps in boosting leadership quality, expressive communication and ability to analyze.

North-west direction is governed by Earth element and boost stability and firmness in their personality.

The kitchen should be placed in the south-east section of the house as this area is governed by Fire element and inspires success and progress.
