Vastu for Living Room to attract happiness

The living room is the most vibrant area of the house. And therefore, it is very important that the living room should be guarded against all negativities.

According to Vastu Shastra, this room should be located in east or north direction of the house so that the flow of positive energy does not break. Similarly, here are a few more vastu tips for the living room to attract happiness into the house.

Hang happy painting such as of waterfall or rising sun in the room. Avoid paintings that symbolize death or violence. Portraits of women, animals, birds, scene of war should never be displayed in living room.

Furniture in the living room should be placed in west or south direction. Also furniture should be rectangular or square, not in oval, circular or oddly shaped.

Electronics like the television and telephone should be placed in southeast direction. Cooler or AC should be placed in west or north direction.

The living room should be white, yellow, blue or green on color. Avoid black and red though.

Aquariums should be placed in the North, East and North-East of living room. Avoid aquarium in south direction.

Chandeliers in the living room should be slightly towards west and not at the centre of the room.

Living room door room should be in east or north direction. Windows can be placed in the east and north direction.
