Vaastu Tips for overhead tank in the house

Then placement of those overhead tanks is very important in vastu shastra as the water stored in well or borewell is pumped into the overhead tank which is flow down into the house for consumption or other purpose. According to vastu shastra, there are principles that should be followed during the construction of water sump in a building.

Here are a few vaastu tips for overhead tank in the house.

The overhead tank should be placed in the west or south west direction. If placed in the southwest direction, it should be at least two feet over the uppermost slab.

It is not advisable to have a big overhead tank on the northeast corner. Also this side should not be heavy under any condition.

It is also not advisable to place overhead tank in the south-east corner as it may result in loss of wealth and accidents.

Placing the water tank in the western side needs no slab or tank can be built over the slab. This is because Lord Varuna dwells here.

Never place the overhead tank in the middle. It may lead to disruption in the family. This place is known as the Bramhasthan.

Do not consider overhead tanks that are made of plastic. However, if you are left with no other option, get those in blue or black in color.
