Significance of Sea Salt in Vastu Shastra

Vastu Shastra is the ancient science of creating structures while maintaining harmony with the environment. This shastra is believed to bring  happiness, prosperity, growth and peace in the household. Sea salt is considered quite significant in vastu.

Below is a justification of why is it considered lucky.

1. Sea salt has the ability to eliminate negative energy from the household. It is recommended to wipe the floor with a mixture of sea salt and water before any big religious festivity.

2. Uncrushed sea salt locked inside bowls in various parts of the house eliminate vaastu doshas. Sea salt also prevents moulds from cropping up.

3. Salt should be bought on Friday and stored in the salt pot in the house on the same day. This brings riches and helps one to clear all debts.

4. Sea salt is also considered very auspicious during various religious festivities in Hinduism. Uncrushed sea salt brings good luck during marriage and other festivals.

5. Uncrushed sea salt stored in the puja room while establishing the idol of Lord Ganesha attracts positive cosmic energy.

6. Sea salt also helps cure depression and fear or anxiety. Take some uncrushed sea salt in both your hands and close your fists. Now open your fists after a few moments and drain the salt into the wash basin. This help in draining out negative energy from the body.
