How to decorate Lagan Mandap according to Vastu

Weddings are happy occasions. It brings along moments of laughter, fun, ceremonies, and memories. Vastu Shastra has prolific significances in most Indian families. They leave no stones unturned to make sure that the wedding is performed without the slightest hitch.

Keeping, this thought in mind, here are 5 vastu tips for decorating a Lagan Mandap.

1. According to vastu, entrance to the wedding hall should be facing East, Northeast or North.

2. The Lagan Mandap should be square in shape and be strictly made of wood or bamboo. It should be decorated with flowers and banana leaves.

3. The holy marriage fire should be ideally lit in the square shaped Havan Kund or at least the fire pit should be a square.

4. The Hindu Wedding Mandap should preferably be placed in the North-East with the bride and groom facing East.

5. Vaastu asks to avoid round, oval, semi-circular or triangular wedding Halls. It should be either square or rectangular.
