How to decorate furniture in house according to Vastu Shastra

Vastu shastra has a huge impact in maintaining the peace and prosperity of the house. In vastu shastra, instructions are given regarding the arrangement of furniture in house too. As per vastu, there are positive and negative energy zones in the house. Even few directions are good for particular furniture while harmful for other one. It is advised to keep the southeast corner of your room empty. The southwest direction of your bedroom is most appropriate to place the bed. 

Dining table

For the dining table, northwest direction is the best. Whether you keep it in living room or dining room, this area is right.

Location of sofa

According to vastu shastra, sofa and chairs should be placed in either west or south direction of the living room. If you place them in drawing room then these directions are appropriate.

Placement of shoe rack

Usually, people put shoe racks in halls or exterior of house. But vastu shastra says, it should be kept in only southwest direction.

Placement of wardrobes

For wardrobes, there is also specific direction. If you keep valuables in the wardrobe then it is suggested to place it in southwest direction.
