The concept of Illuminati began in the 18th century and has been popular since then. They are believed to control the world we live in. There are many Illuminated groups with different kinds of secret knowledge. Each group is constantly striving to increase its power base and undermine the competition. Here are the 7 symbols that define Illuminati.

The Eye...  The All-Seeing Eye is the Eye of Horus or the Udjat and symbolizes royal power. With a human eye in a triangle as the lineament in satanic culture, it represents the Devil’s eye (Eye of Lucifer) watching Satan’s followers at worship.

The Number 666... 666 is associated with anti-Christ, it is the number of the devil. The gesture of folding the forefinger and thumb joining them and leaving the rest three fingers slightly straight, makes consequently 3 sixes and signifying the Illuminati elite.

The Snake... Snakes, Dragons and Serpents and the lure of forbidden knowledge represent Illuminati. Snakes are identified with forbidden wisdom or knowledge. Snake symbol is commonly used in western culture as a representation of evil.

The Owl... Owl is believed to be the wisest creature and hence represents the Minerva. Illuminati use its imagery to transfer the message that they are the wise rulers of the world.
