10 Vastu Tips for Bathroom

Toilets and bathrooms are a major source of negative energy if they are not built according to vastu. Vaastu Shastra has laid down certain basic principles to be followed while positioning the toilet in the house.

Here are 10 Vastu Tips for Bathroom.

1. Bathroom should be located in North or North-West portion of the house. South sided bathroom can cause adverse effects on the health of female members.

2. Water closet should be aligned to North-South axis in toilet.

3. Place commode inside the toilet in West, South or North-West side of West.

4. The entrance door of the toilet should be on the East or North wall.

5. Color walls of toilet in preferably light colors.

6. There should be a small window in the toilet in the East, West or North wall.

7. Washing machine can be placed in south-east and north-west direction directions.

8. The bathroom should never be near the kitchen or under the stairs.

9. Do not have water closet, in toilet, above or under pooja room, fire or bed place.

10. Geyser and other electrical appliances like heater and switchboard should be installed in south-east corner of bathroom.
